It was a shame that this plane was at CFS3 and not for WOV.

I still remember the first time I flew it in SWOTL 15 years ago. That thing tore through B-17 formations like a slower, heavier Me-262. :grin:

Jog my memory, was this the first (or one of) fighter to have an ejection seat since pilots bailing out would be diced by the pusher...?

Yes. Not only an ejection seat, but the rear prop was jettisoned first, too.
