downloading planes

I'am confused about downloading planes.

For one thing it says to put the weapons folder into the objects weapons folder and there isn't one anywhere that I can find.

Also if you put the whole folder ,such as sounds folder in the sounds file ,everything stays in the sound folder instead of with the other wave files and you get nothing.

Same with aircraft that have missions.If you just put the whole folder in the missions file they don't show up,I had to open the folder and drop and drag each mission to the mission folder.

So how to you do this ?Right now I,ve just put the weapons file in the same file as the particular aircraft,but I don't think this is right,the only weapons that show up in the sim(other than the guns) are bombs,when there should be garnades ,rockets etc.Thanks

Yes, you do need to open the folders and cut/paste the files into the appropriate game folders (i.e. put the actual sound file, not the folder into the games sound folder; same with the missions)

 

The weapons file needs to go into the weapons folder, not the aircraft folder, and the weaponsdata ini needs to be edited to include the new weapon.

Thanks for answering the questions,but I think I'am in over my head when it comes to weapons,and just be satisfied with the guns and bombs(don't know why bombs show up, maybe their there by default)
