johnlind2002 Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 I may be a bit daft asking this but when you try to do a fresh install of SFP1 on my system I cant as there is a version already loaded and the auto install wont let me do it is there a way around this ?
csb Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 I think you can copy the original install Delete original install Re-install from disc See my reply to your thread SFP1 fresh install for more help Craig
+NeverEnough Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Just rename the existing folder the current install is in (ie; Org SFP1), and you should be able to perform an auto-install. I then patch the new install up to the latest level (SP4), and rename the new folder Fully Patched SFP1. Then rename the original folder back to its original name (ie; Strike Fighters Project 1) so your original desktop shortcut will work.
