From the interview it sounds promising, but I guess we'll see. The good news is that by thier 2-month release estimate, it should be coming out really soon now. You can read the interview here:

It's kind of sad. Every previous F/A-18 game represented a huge leap in sim technology, and I thought this one would be just like that, but it looks like the Korea/PSF engine :(
