WoV sparrow doesn't fire

I recently installed both the service pack: Wings Over Vietnam Service Pack (v05.15.06), and the patch: Wings Over Vietnam Patch (v08.30.06). Now when i fly the F-4B the sparrow missles do not fire. The sidewinder fire just fine, and the gun pod fires just fine as well.

 

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so is there a soulution?

 

Any help anyone can provide is very appreciated.

ok i just have to ask but you do have a radar lock and are in the proper fireing envelope?

Nope, Sparrows work fine within normal parameters (see post above).

Never had a problem with Sparrows.....

 

Besides them missing sometimes.

 

Just switch radar to boresight mode, get a radar lock, and let 'er rip

Is your game difficulty set to easy,normal,or hard? If you patched it may have reset your difficulty setting,if it changed it to anything other than easy then you have to get missile lock manually.Reset your difficulty level to easy and your sparrow's will fire on their own.
