Waypoints in WOV

Hello; I am kind of new here. Is there a way to move the waypoints on the map before the mission? I am able to move the ones after the Target, but unable to move the ones prior to the target. Some of them are right over enemy strong points.

I can't remember exactly but you should be able to move all of your waypoints that are represented as circles on the planning map. I think the triangles are fixed.

You can reposition your Waypoints since:

1. It's not the Target WP

2. It´s not Take-off, Landing or Rendevouz WP.

On your briefing map you can move the waypoints. I agree, the usual waypoints are usually placed in near suicidal areas.

 

Though granted, in reality the Washington types usually did all they can to ensure planes and pilots being shot down. :(

By using one of the mission editors, you can make all kinds of changes to individual missions, including moving/adding/deleting waypoints.
