F14 problem with cockpit/avionics

Hi guys! I'm having trouble getting the hud info to appear on my F14. I'm using the F14A+ and F14D. I downloaded the cockpit upgrade and installed into both the A+ and D tomcats. I then downloaded the Hud and Radar update for the F14. I followed the instructions without much problems... but in the game my tomcat just has the new cockpit without any hud info and only the original radar modes... anybody know what I did wrong? Any help is much appreciated!

just a wild guess but check the f14.ini file and make sure it is looking for the avionics 70dll vice the 60.
