MDI01 0 Posted June 9, 2007 Hi amazing standard of modelling ... aircraft and scenery. Particularly like the Super Entendard. Did notice though that the Front and Outrigger legs for Undercarriage looked a bit spindly on the Sea Harrier. I recently built one for MS Flightsim 2004/FSX. Be happy to supply drawing details and photos I used if any help to the modeller who did this one.

Did notice though that the Front and Outrigger legs for Undercarriage looked a bit spindly on the Sea Harrier. This is due to the fiddly way the engine does the landing gear animation at the moment - I do it manually with a txt and some vague parameters, trial and error :) With a lot of patience I can make it look good enough and properly animated, the problem is that the engine also doesn't support suspension modeling at the moment, I know this s*cks and so the landing gear will never look right with current system but the integration of a proper physics SDK (ongoing as we speak) will change that. ;) I appreciate any support or references, and I'm a big fan of MS FS addons, where can I get your Harrier? Your model looks good any way but if the engine development allows a better version.. wonderful. With regard to my Harrier (is both an FRS1 and FA2 version) for MSFS it is available at simviation.com and flightsim.com(on this site file names are ukmilrs1.zip and ukmilfa2.zip) plus the UKMIL site (www.ukmil.org.uk) but I think you have to be a member to download it from that one. UKMIL did the panel for me as I had no knowlege of how to do that. Its not a bad model but as always you look at it and think ... I could have done that better now. I dont want to give out my email here and there doesnt seem to be a provision for personnel messages here but if you can think of a way of getting your email to me I'll send you some drawaing details that might be of use.
