Hey ya guys

Like the title say's , I skinned a german and he just dont look right in allied crates , so was wondering if any1 knows the text needed in which .ini's

to add a german skinned pilot to for german planes

From the aircraft Data.ini about midway down:

// Crew ---------------------------------------------------------

[Pilot]

SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT

PilotModelName=WWIpilot <Specify pilot model name here.....

PilotHeadNodeName=head

Position=0.0,-1.14,0.73

MinExtentPosition=-0.27,-1.49,-0.29

MaxExtentPosition= 0.27,-0.45, 0.84

This should allow you to change pilot models for different aircraft.

Great idea Gambit. All adds to that immersion factor.

I'd add it to my FMs, but a question would be of course, what would happen if the your model/pilot skin wasn't installed? Pilotless plane??

BTW, thanks for the Eindecker skins, they are superb.

If it's anything like SFP1/WOV/WOE, FE will just default to the default WWIPilot.lod model. No UCAVs here! :)

Hey ya peter

No M8 just got a flight of uav,s LOL

im sure it can be done though cos SF has a pilot and a prop pilot ,but i dont have that kind of insider knowledge of the .ini's and stuff 2 make it so

paintin um is my main thing, & that takes up all my spare time as it is , even the decal placement is a major distraction for me

I will put the german pilot, skin in the next german skin i put out

hopefully there will be a standalone german pilot for it 2 skin by then

cheers 4 the continued interest though m8

sorry gambit, just catching up with posts, was sorta busy!!!

its a shame - the german pilot looked great. Its certainly a mod I'll make to my own FMs, they just look real cool

For some reason they look superb on Borts planes - maybe because his look so real and mean, and contrasting against your decked out Prussian pilot adds a sardonic touch!

at least the default one you did works well, and is splendid

thanks re frenchy with mo', hope you get around to doing it sometime
