smudger150 Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 Have just bought strike fighters and tried to apply the patch but i get the following message - flightsim.exe is not a valid previous version & could not be upgraded. Anyone got any ideas to help me? the box says its a fully updated version is this y???

Beer Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 Do you have MSFS? It may have found the Microsoft Flight Sim (same .exe name different directory). Rename the Microsoft exe then apply the patch it should find the Strategy First version only then. Then rename the MSFS back to it origional name. If ya dont have MSFS don't know what to tell ya. If the community here can"t answer they can point you in the right direction. For single missions there are lots here created by Ranger in the downloads section. Highly recomend his missions.
