Always a great time. Home of the 509th Bomb Wing (B-2's) and the 442nd FW (A-10's). First time I've ever seen an E-3 Sentry, pretty cool. Also, in the 442nd maintanece hangar they had an A-10 you could sit in, which I did for about 3 or minutes, and it was awesome! The best though was when my brother and I took a tour of "Oscar-01" the missle silo command center that is now a museum. Really interesting, and they had both missle keys in the turn slots! I saw written on the wall in the capsule, "Capt. Micheal Busch USAF Oscar 01 1987-1993, we won the war god bless" Just a little reminder of the unsung heros of the Cold War. BTW if anyone has ever seen the movie "The Day After" tell me if it's any good, I'm somewhat aprehentious about seeing it since most of it was filmed in my hometown and the surrounding area. One of my friends saw it and said it really freaked him out.

Did you get in the A-10? That is my dream for a long time. To sit in it.

You are lucky man.

I've been once in a E-3 Sentry AWACS. Only computers to see.

But nice. Few years ago I saw a bleu painted AWACS with 50 years NATO on it.

Next weekend to Twenthe airbase in The Netherlands (where I live) for a show.

Salute
