Well, this is my problem.

 

I use WoV, usin the Service Pack provided by Thirdwire. I downloaded some add-ons (aircrafts such as tomcat, hornet, eagle... and the 03 Jul 06 weapon pack).

 

For using the planes in the single player missions, I modified the plane's _DATA.INI and changed the service years. Works fine

 

But, then, I change some weapons years (Phoenix and AMRAAM) to use them with the aircrafts downloaded. When I save the changes and launch the WoV, in the weapon selection menu, I fin NO WEAPON AVAILABLE for any planes (add-ons or originals). No weapon (packs and originals). I restored the original WEAPONDATA.INI, but it didn't work.

 

So, does someone know how to modify correctly the weapons for using them in the game?

Try "revalidating" the weapondata.ini, by first deleting the weapondata.dat file (not the weapondata.ini). Next, open the weapondata.ini with the Weapon Editor, and hit the SAVE button. This will create a new weapondata.dat file, and your weapons should now be available.

Fixed that launching error installing the latest patch. But know, i've come to the initial problem again: weapons don't appear!!

Sounds as if you're trying to use an earlier version (pre SP4) of the Weapon Editor. You need to use the one that ships with the latest weapons pack.

Oh, maybe. I'm using one y found here, but I'll try it now with the one installed in the folder (Gun and weapons editor)

OHHH. It seems it worked. Now I can choose the weapon. Tomorrow I'll tell if it worked, trying it, as now it's too late for me.
