Anybody know how to do helmet skins?

Is it possible or are we stuck with the same old checkerboard?

 

Im not much of a skinner, but somethin small like that I could probably do.

check some of the older forums there was a tutoral there in the past

Extract pilot.bmp from objects.cat and repaint it to your liking, then save it in the objects folder. Unfortunately it is global, so all pilots will wear the same helmet.

 

Feature request: TK, it would be nice if we could specify a pilot.bmp for each skin so different squadrons could have different helmets/flight suits.
