gambit168 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I ALWAYS TURN SHADOWS OFF , KILLS FRAMERATES MOST PEOPLE ARE THE SAME , CANT GET A GOOD 1280 x 1024 30 PLANE FURBALL GOING , WITH 16X , 8X IF U GOT PLANES SHADOWS RUNNING BUT I THINK U CAN DIRECT IT 2 ANOTHER PLANES SHADOW
Blizz Posted September 29, 2007 Author Posted September 29, 2007 I tried to copy another planes' SHD line to the dr1.ini shadow lod line but it didnt work. I tried a few things but couldnt get a shadow to appear. I was wondering if someone knows exactly how to do it if it's possible.
p10ppy Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 pretty sure its not possible the SHD file is a simplifed version of the main meshes so even if you could get it to appear it would look different (especialy for a tri) and would have a different pivot point, different size etc.... The original modder has to supply one really and as Gambit said they ushally are more trouble than they are worth (shadows i mean, not modders )
