What a tragedy! Do you always launch the Shrike like this? I usually fire them from 5-7 miles away, either straight towards the target or at a blip on my RWR.

Both Shrikes were fired from over 3 nm, and they both hit their targets (SAM radars). That's why the RWR went "silent" just as I dropped rockeyes on the AAA battery around the Haiphong POL site, which was the strike package's main target...even though I inadventantly took out the tanks myself..lol

Fubar, a great high-octane, high-adrenalin movie! You can see the first Shrike strike on the radar on the shore - cool hit. The water looks great on take-off and Haiphong looks very realistic. I also loved the huge POL fire raging into the sky. Thanks for the entertainment!
