New Dr1 skins

[Firecage 1]

 

These skins are for the Dr1 in the expansion pack and will not work on the ATeam model.

 

I did this set with a slight under paint of the camo finish to try and make this look as if it were done at the airfield after the stock camo was applied.

 

They should be available as soon as they get approved by CA.

Well actually TK has the scratches already there. I did some work with overlayes and such in photoshop and got them to stand out a bit more than usual with an underside painting idea.

 

TK did such a great job on the modeling and skins it makes working skins for them alot easier. Now if I could get them to release the skin templates.

 

I hate having to make those by hand (although if I think about another DR1 skin it will be the 1st template)

 

I am going to make up a few ideas for the Dr1 an see if they workout well or not. I will post in CA if more skins get released.

Absolutely agree that:

1- this skin is outstanding;

2- a good template would help us all.
