Wallowing controls

I really like Super Pro but what spoils it for me are the controls. I use a Saitek X52 and in most flight sims it is faultless. In Super Pro however, every movement on the stick is so exaggerated that it makes the plane wallow from side to side. Have tried changing the dead zone, this made no difference at all. Any suggestions please
