Is the cruise or attack height of AI adjustable in a campaign.

In WOV I flew escort for a flight of A-7s and they crossed the coast at only a couple of thousand feet. Needless to say, they all were zapped by AA before they got to the target(Bac Giang bridge).

Two other flights of A-7s were silmilarly decimated in the same mission, because of low level flight.

Is there any way to make them fly at a minimum height, before they attack.

I had the same issue with A-10's in WoI, but from the opposite perspective, too high!

The SAM's are ferocious in Syria, and here's my wingie diddy-boppin' at 10,000'! >Pop< goes the warthog! :blink:

As to altitudes, I think they are adjustable by skill under AI somewhere. But, be aware, it applies to ALL AI, as in enemy too.

Wish there was a separate area for friendly and enemy to adjust to taste.

Anyway, the specific file eludes me at the moment, as I am not home where my SFP1E files are. I have to put them on my work laptop, as I have WoI here.

Let me rummage, if no one gets back to you, maybe I will have found it.

In the missioncontrol.ini I changed the following(all numbers in metres):

From:

[Altitude]

Normal=3000

Low=500

VeryLow=100

High=5000

VeryHigh=8000

To:

[Altitude]

Normal=3000

Low=3000

VeryLow=500

High=5000

VeryHigh=8000

That seems more realistic for Vietnam, AI flights about 10,000 feet on the way to a normal strike.
