Hi all, I've flipped through the threads and couldn't find anything on the issue I'm having with EECH. When I start the cockpit and helicopter is all visible but all the terrain is missing. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate the help.

thanks,

regards

check the sizes of the sim folder...

if it's too small reinstall it... maybe some files weren't copied good to the HD

hmm, tried re-installing from my original CD, that's a little thrashed :shok: and I noticed that the Razorworks folder is only 220MB. Is that right?

Also tried running the sim again and got the same problem as the above post but then it crashed and I got this error.

"Unable to create Zbuffer surface DDERR_Unsupported"

any more ideas?

This is a screenshot of the issue in the basic installation. The same thing happened on my modded installation after I switched from my Desktop XP to my laptop vista. I'm currently looking for info on google.

thanks again

That's a DirectX related error, have you tried reinstalling DX 9.0c? I'd also maybe reinstall my video card driver.

or update the driver...

hmmm, graphics driver is up to date and I have DirectX 10 installed....still the same problem.

DX10?? You're using Vista?? That's a whole different set of possible issues. Have you tried running the game in WinXP or 98 compatability mode?
