I ws thinking about this stuff the last days, how could it be possible to improve the sound in this nice game. I think I found a way wich isn`t so difficult to produce. Only bad thing is, TK has to create this.

Imagine we have 3 new parameters for sound. When you compare it with Lomac you will see/here the difference in the jet pit. it`s quiet inside. I don`t like this windloop solution. It`s still the same over and over again and if you here carefully you can here the "loop". But if we could change this fact, a more quiet jet engine sound, all other sounds have to be more quiet inside the pit. We have a entry for the windloop why not a parameter for the volume?!

1. Parameter for the volume for the specific soundfile

2. for the soundfile itself, to change it

3. don`t know need some help with it ...

Is it dreaming or do we have a chance to see this improvement?! I want something similar like LOMAC sound. it sounds great, the soundbarrier is there, nice Jetsounds and great pit sounds!!

TK would need to add new sound event triggers to the game engine in order to utilize any of those ideas.

BTW, Kreelin released a utility a couple of years ago that sets the inside and outside cone angle of engine sounds so they are not plainly audible from the cockpit. It's called "Sound3D". I don't think that it's available here anymore, though I could ask his permission to upload it (if there's enough interest).
