Moorkey Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Hey all. Have bought myself a new laptop (yay!) I tried to run LOMAC on it, and the graphics are fine, apart from these really odd textured spikes that eminate from my aircraft, seemingly to infinity, and ships, aircraft, etc... have chunks that keep disappearing. Has anyone had this problem before? +Ruggbutt Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 It looks like you have an integrated video card. Which won't work for LOMAC. Quote
+JediMaster Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 I'm sorry to say that Intel integrated video chips are probably the WORST thing you could try to run a game on. I know it's a little late now to find that out, but you would've been better off with either an ATI or nvidia chip in that laptop. Of course, models coming with those start at higher prices. I doubt you can find a laptop under $750 or so with them. I just bought one myself from Dell with an 8600GT in it, but it's costing me $1300 or so. Quote
Moorkey Posted August 25, 2008 Author Posted August 25, 2008 Ah. That's ok then. Back to burning it up in IL2:1946. (My copy of LOMAC didn't cost much anyhow) THX for the advice. Quote
