Help needed with mod installs

Hi all,

Picked up WOI at the weekend, wanted to add some new jets so i added in order , typhoon , j11 and gripen. I also installed latest weapon pack. All has gone well except the weapons for the typhoon/gripen , they dont appear in the loadout list.

I have copied the text for the weapons included with the gripen (meteor etc) into the .ini file and loaded it into the weapons editor , opened each new weapon , clicked ok then save but the only ones showing up are the fuel tanks , no meteor , asraam etc.

 

I must have forgotten to do something but i cant for the life of me think what.

 

I have searched the forum and cant find a fix for this.

Are you using the weps editor that came with the weapons pack? - or are you using the one that works with WOI - that you can get from here or 3rdWires site? - should be dated 2008

I am suing the latest one hosted here 2.20.08

 

I have searched a bit more and i think i am right in saying that the gripen wasnt released with working weapons, no meteor etc, it was designed to work with existing weapons - sparrow, sidewinder etc.

I worked it out, you must change meteor and iris-t in weaponeditor by ticking exported and changing the years they are available (i put them 1990 - 2010)

 

Show up fine now.
