+The Trooper Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 View File Tornado IDS cockpit repaint v.1.0 Tornado IDS cockpit repaint v.1.0 --------------------------- This is a repaint of AmokFloo's Tornado pit. I've recalibrated or moved some of the instruments, so make sure you are using the Tornado_IDS_COCKPIT.INI file included in this pack. I don't pretend for 100% accuracy due to a lack of good reference materials and engine limitations. Radar Ground Map mode works only in WOI and there is no Terrain Avoidance Mode so I hope TK will fix that in the upcomming patches. Credits: --------------------------- Original cockpit model by AmokFloo RWR Symbology by fractalnoise Installation: --------------------------- Extract it in your tornado folder overwriting all files. In your main tornado_*.ini file change the following lines: CockpitDataFile=Tornado_*_cockpit.ini AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll AvionicsDataFilename=Tornado_*_avionics.ini to: CockpitDataFile=Tornado_IDS_cockpit.ini AvionicsDLL=Avionics70.dll AvionicsDataFilename=Tornado_IDS_avionics.ini There is no .lod file included, so you still need the original model! --------------------------- Released under CombatAce Fair-Use terms: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=26131 The Trooper 13 Sep 2008 Submitter The Trooper Submitted 09/13/2008 Category Jet Cockpits Quote

+76.IAP-Blackbird Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Thank you very much! Good work Quote
Hairysteed Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I must've done something wrong, because the whole cockpit seems to be placed too far back and low, so that the nose of the aircraft model blocks my view. I'd like to get this cockpit to work, because HUD of the original one is SUB-standard Quote
Hairysteed Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Never mind. I fixed it! The new Tornado_IDS_COCKPIT.ini -file had wrong values in the Position entry in the [CockpitSeat001] section: Position=0.0,3.737,0.388 While the original torn_COCKPIT.ini had the correct values: Position=0.0,6.597,0.842 So I simply copied the line from the old .ini file and replaced the line in the new file with it. Now it works like it should :) Quote
