  12. Hi Ansons, Like it very much and thanks a lot !!!!. Been in Norway last summer and some parts of your reworked terrain do remind me of places like Hallingdal and Hemsedal ...... The trees do wonders for the atmosphere of the whole thing !! And what I like very much is that airbases are situated in wooded areas with lots of trees on the base itself, something we see very often on W. European airfields. Great target areas too with lots of juicy tanks and trucks Hou doe, Derk
  13. How did YOU end up here at combatace?

After starting out with Air Warrior and having had a lot of fun with Jane's USAF on Windows '98, I got myself an early SFP1 somewhere in 2004 (mainly because of the F104) in a toyshop over here Googled into SimHq and was dragged in by a "certain" USAFMTL. Had great times there When everything exploded there in the end, I followed the big stampede into CA (being a quite early member of BioHaze, as I found out later....) Still a couple of good people left at SimHQ though, but of course CA is faaaaaar more active. Hou doe, Derk
  14. Hopsten Airbase 1997

Fabulous !!!! Back in the seventies & eighties I always spent the morning after carnival (and after 5 days with a LOT of beer ...) at the runway at Volkel AB (3 squadrons of F104's) in order let the the Starfighters' howling and tearing sound clear my head ....... Hou doe, Derk
