Can someone help PLEASE?

Ok so I reinstalled WOE and applied the new patch and like the other thread I read I lost my weapons.In the other thread it says to run the weapons data ini through WOI weapons editor but to add to my problem I cannot open the WOI weapons editor.Ive tryed the ingame editor the one I downloaded from here and,the one I got from Thirdwire no luck.If someone has the weapons data ini file for Bunyaps weapons pack fixed up so it will work on the new patch for WOE could or would they be so kind to post it here or pm it to gumpy.Please and thanks

Slow down.

 

First, did you attempt to set the Weapon Editor to Windows98 compatability mode?

No I didn't think I would have to do that.How do I get it to open on windows98?

Right click on the weapons editor executable, and scroll down to Properties.

 

Note the tab Compability. Select that tab.

 

See the area with the drop down menu. Check the box and select Windows98.

 

Hit OK.

 

Now run the weapons editor (the correct version for WOI).

Yes, but you should add the weapons manually. Which means doing a line by line check. A LONG process at best.

It would. All you need to do is just open the weapondata.ini it with the editor, and save it.
