+wilco 11 Posted October 11, 2008 (edited) Yesterday I watched Waltz With Bashir (<- link to the official website that has two trailers) at the local film festival and I'm still impressed by both the movie (about Ari Folman trying to discover his memories of the Lebanon war in general and the Sabra and Shatila massacres in particular) and the soundtrack (including PIL, OMD and a hebrew cover version of Cake's I Bombed Korea). What makes it even better is the fact that the movie succeeds in adressing these somber topics without Israel-bashing. Highly recommended! BTW, does anyone know the name of the song played during the tank scene? edit: damn typos... Edited October 11, 2008 by wilco
Emp_Palpatine 501 Posted October 11, 2008 Yeah, I agree with the fact that it deals with terrible events, but without the usual israel-bashing we are used to hear here. But even more, I was just "wow" because of the so realistic animation and depiction of war and soldier life.
