OK, so I was doing some SEAD in the A-6A the other day, and noticed it was a little difficult due to the lack of a visual RWR. The stock WOV A-6A doesn't have one, and that's accurate as far as I know. A-6B's had sort of a visual RWR, and they were the ones used for SEAD. There are three ways I could deal with this:

1. Add the RWR to the A-6A pit - I know there is a mod for this available, but since the real A-6A didn't have an RWR, I don't want to add one to mine. There's something about hearing the RWR but not seeing it that makes things a little more exciting. Ya know?

2. Create (or download) an A-6B with the RWR in the pit - Yeah, this would be fine except that I'd have to go into the campaigns and add A-6B squadrons and change all the mission rates, and I don't think having a squadron with 100% SEAD and 0% everything else will work with the way the campaign engine works.

3. Find some way to be able to "convert" the A-6A into a 'B' during SEAD missions only - I was thinking about doing something similar to the Bombsight for the Canberra in the falkalnds mod, where pressing the tailhook key brings up a bomb sight view with a working bombsight. Is there a way to do something similar in the A-6A, only use maybe the bombay key and have it bring up a RWR? This would allow you to fly the aircraft as an 'A' normally, and just bring up the RWR when you're on SEAD missions (when you're in the "B").

What do you think? Anyone know how to make it work?
