Will self-chosen altitude remain, if I warp then?

If I climb to an altitude, that is higher than were the sim would have set me;

and I press "warp" then, will my plane remain at that altitude; or will it come

out of warp at the sim chosen alt. again? Does anyone know?

When i've done it in the past, you always end up at pre-set altitude.......
