Macklroy Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Evening all. Just currious if it was possible to turn off the clouds in game? I'm playing OFF right now on my old machine that handles the game "ok". But even at all the sliders at 2 (couds at 1) i get less than desireable frame rates. Seems like i get better frames on days with less coulds. So just wondering if you could turn them off all together? or if setting the clouds slider to 1 is the best you can do. TY in advance. Gotta get back to the camel. S!
tttiger Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Go to Workshops/CFS3 Config/Overides and check Disable Clouds (and anything else you want to try disabling -- but try just one thing at a time). The clouds are real FPS killers in every flight sim I've flown. ttt
