Canvas Wings 1 Posted May 2, 2009 I usually fly the regular string of single seat fighters, but I didn't particularly feel like dying again tonight, so I took a little spin in an Fe, in the QC mode. Started poking around in the cockpit and... hey! Is that a photo of Mata Hari pinned up on the dash??? LOL! I nearly stalled! That must have been one hell of a four day pass my pilot had! Nice touch, devs! (Pol?) One more reason I love this sim I hate so much.

Yeah, she's really made the rounds of us Fee pilots. No wonder we've all got the same pox
Hasse Wind 46 Posted May 2, 2009 Yeah, she's really made the rounds of us Fee pilots. No wonder we've all got the same pox Ach, it is a plot devised by the clever agents of his Imperial Majesty der Kaiser! Biological warfare in order to get rid of those flying abominations by making their pilots sick. I actually gave the Fee a try in QC just to see what you all are talking about. Nice cockpit! Like flying in some furniture.
Bullethead 12 Posted May 2, 2009 (edited) The unarmed featured a bottle of rum in the rear cockpit, freely rolling around on the floor. Besides the pin-up girl, the Fee's cockpit also sports a shelf just below the row of instruments. Upon this shelf is a pack of cigarettes that slides from left to right. As such, it functions very well as a slip indicator, and I actually always use it as such. It's the only "instrument" in the Fee I every bother looking at, because it does an EXCELLENT job of telling me which way the wind's blowing. The other instruments are just excess weight I wish I didn't have to carry, because no matter what they say, I already know I'm too low and slow, and nothing I do will change that The best thing about these smokes, however, is that they NEVER fall out even when I push negative G. So I keep all my important papers, my money, my naked pictures of my observer's wife, and my blackmail photos of the Major with the mule all folded up in this pack Edited May 2, 2009 by Bullethead
