+Viggen 674 Posted May 23, 2009 (edited) Last summer, I picked up a Minicraft Model Kits Dassault Breguet Mirage F1C in 1/144th Scale. I decided to start building it today. Rather simple, really. But, I've got a small problem. I'm going to paint it like an Iraqi Mirage F1EQ. However, I don't know what colors to use. Also, I'm having problems finding good pictures of them. Another thing is the decals. How should I do that? Get some very fine tip permanant markers and draw them, along with the serial numbers? Or make my own? Sorry, no pictures yet! +Viggen 674 Posted May 24, 2009 (edited) After and hour of looking at the F1 schemes on acig.org, I changed my mind and went with a Hellenic Air Force Aegean Blue bird instead. It came out well. But, becuase of my inexperience, I did make some mistakes with the placement of the white underside, and there are some smudges and large paint buildups which cover panel lines. Have to finish one part of the underside, add some smoke build around the guns, and add roundles which I'm still not sure how to do.
