Individual TrackIR 4 settings

Recommended Posts

Someone (was it OvS?) asked me recently to show my TrackIR settings.

Okay, here they are as Jpegs.

Feel free to show yours, if they are different, and please explain, why you set it that way.

Edit: in "yaw" the outer points are lifted up more. That is the last bit of the "check six turn".

You could experiment with this to set it after your taste. I had it higher first, but then the move

was so hasty, that I didn't recognise anything. So I put it down a bit again.

The center is, what happens directly at forward looking - I prefered to keep that quieter, but find out yourself.

G'day Olham,

Having just set up my new TrackIR4 I was very interested to see your settings, BUT,

I can't see any jpegs??

Have they been removed or am I not seeing something I should? :search:

BTW the new 5 Beta03 drivers are a real change from the 4's.

Cheers,

T&FO

Hmmm - strange - I assure you, they where there first.

I'll try again to attach them to the above post. If there should be any objections from side of the admins

or whoever - please send me a PM.

Thanks Sport,

Will give me something to mull over :good: .

My first few landings were tragic (landings were fine, just the ground was too high)

I've got the hang of them now, wow, sooo slow after IL2 1946.

I'm starting to see why this could be addictive

Cheers,

Hey, Tripe

I used to fly IL2 1946, and I know what you mean. But after short time, you will find some of these crates

pretty fast. If I want to do an elegant landing, I approach field nose down and level her as close as some

5 feet above ground. With a pretty high speed, I touch down softly now, and let her run right in front of the

workshop hangar (as I usually have something to repair - Lol!).

It takes a while to get used to the physical behaviour of these craft, but you will find some of them agile,

elegant, fast, and just beautiful after a while - believe me!
