  1. Who is the oldest (and youngest) OFF'er

51 and a bit this way (with someone elses kidney that I've had for 22 years). Love the Irony of "Hood" listed as a "junior member" Cheers from Down Under.
  2. Albatros Lozenge Fabric Research

You may find this an amazing fact but Andrew is my Brother-in-Law, I was there watching him remove some of the fabric off the wing. I don't know any of the technical stuff so am unable to answer questions but it was an interesting day. Cheers, T&FO.
  3. WOW-Best WWI (Fun Game-not sim) I've ever seen.

Yeah, just had to get it too after watching the Vid. Should be a bit of light fun, and doesn't hurt to support the Devs for further improvements. Cheers' T&FO
  4. Please Help!

G'day all, Last few times I installed Track IR4 on win7 64 bit it wouldn't recognise the unit till I opened Device manager and clicked on update drivers, it found them on my machine and all has been good since. Cheers, T&FO, TB, T_T, FC1961 or whatever the Hell I am on this site
  5. OT: Never thought I'd say it

Also I did manage to use the proper code to unlock my US dvd player, but it didn't work for all of the region 2 dvds. Then there is the option of ripping the DVD to your computer, stripping the region lock off it and reburning, Not that "I" would do such a thing , but an option. Cheers, T&FO.
  6. OT: Ubisoft creating a brand new IL-2 Sturmovik game

No Sport, Same game they have been working on for Millennia. Different title, one that will probably get much more sales. Some parts that were going to be in the initial release will be held for later, probably release of the next "Theater" that will combine with CoD like the various expansions of IL2 did. Once off activation doesn't sound too painful as DRM, better than "Starfarce" was. Cheers, T&FO.
  7. OT: Ubisoft creating a brand new IL-2 Sturmovik game

Hi Guys, Have bought all the"Sturmovik" titles since the original. Been hanging out for CoD (nee SoW) for MANY years, seems like decades . Will require Once off activation and will run (toned down as was original IL2, took 2 upgrades before I could run "perfect" landscape well) on a mid range system (but where is the fun in that). Can't see that I will stop playing 4.10 modded because of it , but we will see. Just watch this colonial lad protect the Mother Country against those bloody mongrel Heinkels. Cheers, T&FO.
  8. Lowest System Specs

Oh, bugger ,. Having just recently upgraded my 'pooter I don't get to participate in this topic. Built a mid to highish spec beast so I won't have to upgrade for a few years. Carry on without me Chaps Cheers, T&FO
  9. In advance of Burns night...

Thanks for that, got a laugh down here in Aussie Had some Haggis (not the full on version because of health regulations, unfortunately) in Dunedin in New Zealand with the full ceremony ie. piped in and the ode read. Would love to pop over for a bit of the real thing one day. Cheers, T&FO. PS . Must check ebay for tinned haggis
  10. Good Stuff Sport, I read a lot on various subjects, but I don't read with a red pencil in hand .. 99.9% of people will not notice or forgive if you stamp on some "rules", they will just enjoy the story. I suppose you have to get it past the picky ones to get it published, shame about that. "Please Sir, can I have more?" Cheers, T&FO.
  11. Another Pair Find Their Way to the Shelves of My Library

Just ordered "No Parachute", "Wind in the wires" and "With the earth beneath" will look forward to reading them soon. Too easy, mate.
  12. Another Pair Find Their Way to the Shelves of My Library

G'day All, What an amazing collection, I like to find biographies of WWII pilots mainly, but have a slowly growing shelf of WWI books. Most are in your collection except for : "Flying Minnows" by "Roger Vee" a pseudonym of Vivian Voss, a Canadian pilot. "Australian Hawk over the Western Front", A biography of Major RS Dallas DSO, DSC, C de G avec Palme by Adrian Hellwig. Both good reads, hope to use your list to purchase more good stuff . Cheers, T&FO>
  13. Silly pics of yourself

Hi Guys, Was an extra in a film called "Azadi" made here in Adelaide in 2005. Don't normally dress like this Cheers, T&FO.
