hughesyman Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Does anyone know if VRinsight Hat Track will work with OFF? was thinking tis about time i purchased some trackIR to boost my gaming experience, especially with OFF as i play it so much. mmitch10 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 If you go to ebay.co.uk, there's a seller based in the US selling TIR4 for $99. With postage and import duties and the current £/$ exchange rate it won't be much more than the VRinsight.
hughesyman Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 well, at the website i've added ubove it cost for the Hat track £79.99 over here which is $130.00, (little expensive!) and for the TrackIR pro 4 over here its £139.99 which is $227.89!! (too expensive!) Thanks for asking that question because after more research looking at the TrackIR natural point website that you have over there, its only $119.95 for the TrackIR 4 pro, which is only £73.67 i have to pay over here. So think i might buy it from state side and get it shipped over,. much cheaper
nwdingo Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 hi...with regards to the VRinsight Hat Track,i doubt it will work...i did own one and it was even worse than useing freetarck with home made stuff...i got track ir 4 pro,which is about £99 in uk from rc simulation in bristol...i was cheeky enough to pick it up in person and ask for a discount,which they did and ended up payin £ 89.99
Burning Beard Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Is Track IR still offering the discount they used to give when you bought it through a website like SOH, I'm sure I got my TR3 that way when the OFF forum was over there. Heck maybe they offer it to Combat Ace users also. Beard

mmitch10 Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 You won't regret it! I upgraded because I couldn't get my TIR 2 to work with OFF. TIR4 and 3dof makes the sim so much more immersive.
