Any of our Dutch, Belgian or German members planning to go to Volkel next Friday and/or Saturday, June 19th and 20th

Great show (Vulcan, Turkish Stars, EF18, airfield attack/air power demo, Typhoon, BAF & RNlAF F16 demo's, Polish Fulcrum, Hunter, Patrouille de France, Patrulla Aguilla, SAAB 105, Red Arrows etc etc. ... see website)

Maybe a nice occasion to have a beer together after years without it on the forum.... And: there is ALWAYS something you've never seen before and won't ever see again !!!

Hope to see some of you around,

Hou doe,

Make sure that you bring your camera! Obviously, I can´t make it, so please post some pics! It´s a pity, since I would love to see the vulcan in action

Did see the Vulcan (and a lot of other great stuff for that matter) and shook hands and had a chat with the display pilot, Sq.Ldr (retired) Martin Withhers, who was actually the pilot on Black Buck 1 , the epic 8000 mile round trip from Ascension, with the very first attack on Stanley Airfield in the Falkland War !! Took pics and made simple movies but can't send them because of used attachment space.

Guess we'll see YOU around one day as the F16 or F35 demo pilot !!!!! ,

And by the way: the airfield attack was changed a bit compared to other years and was VERY impressive with 15 F16's attacking all AT THE SAME TIME, and making numerous bombing and strafing passes after that.

It was a thundering and fiery affair !! Guess you'll be finding things at Youtube.
