Boltz 0 Posted January 9, 2004 Wow, just downloaded the P-38 "Glacier Girl" from AVSIM and flew her around, and it was fantastic. What a plane. The flight model and sounds are incredible. It's everything I would think she is made of. I was completely drawn in by this model. The Glacier Girl is from the "Lost Squadron", found buried in snow and ice. Recovered and eventually fully restored in Oct of 2002, she just recently flew again after 60 years of being in cold storage. Her story is here if anyone would like to see...Glacier Girl She is really cool to fly, and has made this virtual flight simmer very happy. A pack of three P-38s (including "Glacier Girl") will result...I would think this is the one that Boltz mentioned... Haven't tried it yet but it looks great in the picture provided on the site...If this isn't the right one, I'm sure Boltz will steer us in the right direction.
