Cole Palen's Aircraft

Recommended Posts

I'm sure, that UncleAl has this website listed in his "Tipps & Cheats" sticky thread.

And I'm also pretty certain, that some of you have missed it so far. Here are some pictures from there -

a lot more from the SPAD and other craft - worth to visit and check out. Enjoy!

Edit: the grey Fokker DVII doesn't appear as bulky as I thought the craft was. The wing somehow looks like

that from the E.V or DVIII here.

Olham, That's a wonderful place to visit

When I was a youngster, we used to go there once or twice a year

Been mnay years since I've been there

But one of my fondest memories was a Fly-Ride in a 1929 New Standard Biplane

The pilot took us out over the Hudson River and pulled a Hammerhead turn

Thanks for the reminder

Kindly note my Avatars... :)

I wish I could find photos, I have some of when my girlfriend (now my wife) and I took the same flight. It was awesome! That place was and still is the Mecca of WWI aviation.
