Avangate and shipping

I purchased OFF: BH&H on July 3rd (holiday weekend, so I know nothing much was going to happen), and immediately got 2 emails from Avangate:

#1 confirming my order and that my payment was being processed.

#2 confirming that my payment went thru.

 

 

This second message stated:

"Shortly you will receive an email with detailed product LICENSING

INFORMATION and technical support contact information."

 

and it also gave me an address to check my order status online.

 

I have not yet (3 days later) received any other emails (I checked my spam filters as well), and when checking my order status online, it states:

 

"Order complete. All products/services have been delivered."

 

 

Maybe I'm being paranoid, but since there's no shipping information, or tracking number, nor the 3rd email, I'm wondering if this is normal? Just checking...

Meh...the Purchase, Deliver, Ordering FAQ has the answers to both questions.

However, I did write to Avangate regarding a tracking number and they said to ask the support at OFF...

Guess I'll wait a few days more and see if anything shows up...

 

 

 

Anyway, here's the answers from the FAQ:

Please just ignore that part of the message! There is no need of an email license

 

2.MY ORDER STATUS SAYS "DELIVERED" WHEN IT IS NOT?

CHECKING ONLINE IT SAYS : “Avangate - Order status Order complete. All products/services have been delivered”

 

Nearly all DVD's are shipped within 24 hours after the order is placed – so if you check the status of your order online in the Avangate order system, you may see it as "delivered" – although it should read “dispatched" or "shipped”. Please do not worry, just allow the recommended delivery time as above.

I started a thread here cos I was sweating on OFF arriving. And got some replies from mainland USA. It took just 5 days to get here to Australia. A LOT longer to get to them in mainland USA. Perhaps you'll be lucky like me.

 

I know it's hard, after reading all this stuff and jumping up and down for it...but try to be patient. They were pretty good sending it to me here in Oz, but it seems as if USA post takes longer...mine was delivered by UPS. Perhaps Hawaii being offshore might be quick too.

 

I'm guessing that it'll take a while to get your CFS3 (from Amazon I'm guessing also).

 

Try to be patient. Keep reading more threads. The wait is WELL worth it.

CFS3 should be here on the 13th according to UPS.

RoF arrives today or tomorrow

TrackIR should be here tomorrow

CH pedals probably thurs or friday.

 

I have the whole kit coming!

 

Hopefully OFF wont be the last to arrive....tho as long as it arrives in a timely fashion, I'm OK with it.

On a side note, $9 for shipping of a DVD should be VERY fast. That's a LOT for a DVD shipment.

My RoF and a DVD from amazon was only $6.
