Wildfowler Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Recently I have had an occasion where I have shot at an enemy aircraft (Usually a Halbersat 2, the cockit becomes empty, the prop stops but the aircraft just hangs in the air and does'nt fall at all!!! What gives? Has the pilot parked up and popped out for a packet of fags? Reminds me of the rather dim passenger in a Dakota. On a training flight one of the engines fails. The worried passenger asks the pilot what will happen the pilot says not to worry as the Dak can easily fly on one engine but they will be about 30 mins late on their ETA. "Blimey" says the passenger " I hope the other engine holds out or we'll be stuck up here all day!" Quote
+quack74 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I dont know why this is either. But it has happened to me a few times. Especially with the SPADS. I'll see a SPAD dogfighting one minute, get shot up, then just freeze in mid air. I think also it will start to fall very slowly. A fix for this would be nice. Quote
+Tailspin Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I've noticed that too, occasionally. Its like the A/C is stuck in the air and just sort of floats down. Quote
