I'm not sure which patch it was, I'm reasonably sure it was the either the first patch for WOI (the one with the bug that accidentally disabled weapons in bomb bays), but I remember being able to drop flares in a set, not individually. ie, now, it currently operates like a semi automatic gun in that every time I hit the flares button, I launch a single flare from each dispenser on the plane, however during this particular patch, I could hit the flare button and it would launch one flare sequentially from each launcher.

 

I'm looking to edit this in my installs so I can launch them sequentially, can someone point me in the right direction to mod it back... assuming it can be done?

The sequential release of 4 flares or chaff per button press was a bug ( some AI code used for the player). Its hardcoded, so no chance to edit some ini to get it back.
