Game won't start

Hi,

 

bought this game today and downloaded and installed it. When starting I get to the start menu just fine and can adjust all settings.

 

But when I try to start a game it gets to 60% in the load view and then stops dead.

 

P4 3.6 GHz

ATI HD4850 512

Soundblaster Audigy 2

XP Pro SP3

Saitek X52

CH Pedals

 

Anyone had this problem cause I cannot find anything about this in the forum.

What version of the game is it? - should tell you in the bottom right hand corner of the menu screen

 

Have you installed the version of Direct X 9 required?

 

Assume you havnt added any mods yet? if so take em out.

Hi,

 

Just bought it and it's the latest with EP1 included and it also contains the latest patch.

No mods installed and DX9 is not the absolute latest but I updated it not long ago.

 

Tried to reinstall and didn't do any modifications what soever and it runs OK.

But when I go in to setup and change things it won't get past 60%

Problem solved :)

 

I'm an idiot. I selected unlimited for graphics and it took some minutes to load and I believed it had hung

 

Will enjoy this beeing an old Il2 buff and LOMAC flyer :)
