I have seen this before somewhere, many moons ago, but for the life of me I can't remember where. I thought it might have come from Hall and Nordoff's "Lafayette Flying Corps" but I did not see it there, (though I could have missed it).

I found the historical image on a French historical Escadrille web site and then added the frame, text and title. Don't know the exact website.
