Bullethead Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 U guys proabaly already seen this ( a replica FEB4 taxing in New Zeland) just go to youtube.com and search FEB4 I was impressed wating the Mighty FE. I knew they were building one and had the motor going already. The motor, BTW, is like 90% original parts, salvaged from a wreck in the Andes that happened about 1920. Anyway, I was already getting my Vaseline out to watch the video when I noticed YOU DIDN'T PUT A LINK IN YOUR POST
Bullethead Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 excellent vids Ah, thanks Notice the narrator mentioned them doing the Lufbery Circle
+RAF_Louvert Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Very neat! And I see it is painted up as Captain Grinnel-Milne's "Zanzibar No.1". This particular FE2b was forced to land by Ltn Gontermann of Jasta 5 on the 16th of May, 1916 and ended up in German hands, as did Captain Grinnel-Milne and his gunner Corporal MacMaster. Cheers! Lou
