+Dagger Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 Ok i hear stories about people paying like $10.00 for a haircut but I've been paying $3.50 for a cut and shave since the mid 80s now he quit shaving and upped his price to $4.00...I even tried to do alittle"bargining"but he wouldn't do it. He has one of those barber shops where everybody meets and talks about everything and dogs get sold,tractors argued about and hunting and fishing tales are told over and over,same chair I got my first haircut in,of course I think he got $1.00 then. Whats the world coming to.

Weasel Keeper Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 Wow, I haven't paid less that $4.00 since the early 70s when I was a kid! Mine just upped his price to $13.00...and I only have my hair in a short flat top.

Hope your shop is still a good place to talk and visit though, ours is. If ya want the local gossip, the barber shop's the place to go. And we always say the women are bad, lol. ;)
