Using Vee- Formation with fighters

I changed the formation of the fighter aircraft to use the Vee-Formation rather than Echelon Left.

The Vee formation only used three aircraft per flight. So if I wanted two or more flights the fourth aircraft wouldn't appear. I changed the number of aircraft in the Vee formation to 4 and added the XYZ coordinates. I also changed the positioning of the aircraft in the Vee Formation to be a lot tighter. Attached is my "Formation.ini" file. Back up yours if you want and install this new one into your First Eagles' "Flight" folder.

The original is in the CAT. File in the Flight folder just in case you want the original back.

Here is another Formation style. This time the whole Squadron or Jasta up to 16 aircraft will fly in a Vee formation. Instead of each vee formation flight being in an echelon left formation, now the vee flights will be in a vee formation. Hard to explain have a look at the photos.

 

 

 

 

Here is the Formation .ini file. Back up your original formation.ini file in your Flight folder. Then just drop in this new one and overwrite.
