dsawan Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Hi, just got windows 7 and want to know if its possbile to keep both vista and windows 7 on the same hard drive. i have strike fighters installs on it but want to revert back and forth with both os's. Anyone know how? thx.
Guest rscsjsuso5 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 no mean to being a vague person with a vague answer but if u mean sf on 7 and on vista then u need to partition your HD .if u using vista right now as your primary os then u pop in the dvd of 7 , 7 should let u partition a space on the same hard drive during the formating/partitioning sequence on the install and so when u boot up it should give u a dual boot of which os u want to use. if i was u i would test it on a test computer . i have a test computer that has xp3 and ubuntu. some installs are great when they give u a bar of the capacity of your hd and let your slide left/right how much u want to use for the install of os. enjoy and test it on a test computer.
+Muesli Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Why keep Vista if 7 is the same or better in most respects?
