Looks better than my 1st attempt, which I did with the "Bitmap to Bullets" tutorial. I made no attempt at all to make it look airworthy in any way, shape, or form. BUT, the aerodynamics are completely separate from the 3D model, so I had it flying around in CFS3 like a Tempest yikes.gif .

Started a Fokker DII,at least this one is starting to look like a crate...

Thanks Hairyspin,i did give up but since see the excellent work by Conrad i deciced to keep at it.

Thank you Red-Dog! Glad to have inspired you to get back to it!

 

Just a little piece of advice, is to save your work after every major tweak or addition. That way you can go back to a previous level to fix things if they don't work, instead of deleting and restarting your project. It saves many headaches.

 

I had to restart mine 3 times before I was satisfied with the results I was getting. But if you have your initial set up with your drawings to work from saved, it makes the project go easier.

 

That Fokker is looking pretty darn good to start with, so like Hairyspin says, keep at it!
