Is there a way to direct connect on the interent? Me and a buddy want to play but because of high pings, 56K, we seldom get into an online server. Most games allow direct connect. What about COD?

Anyone? Im at a loss here. Doesnt say anything about direct IP connection in the manual.

To my knowledge no. However, you may be able to setup a COD Server on a local machine....and connect to that....so ..It can be done I believe, you just woudn't want to host more then 4 people.

 

I'll check into it for ya more this weekend and see what I can dig up

Create a new server,send ip to ur buddy..he can then start cod,join server and enter ip...

pull down the console type /connect and the IP number. Like this: /connect 209.43.65.144:28960
