I found the Radar 101 section by Mad Jeff very helpful but it still leaves some questions unanswered for me.

Instead of tryng to ask for answers to questions that I'm sure how to word (since im new to jet sims) I 'll just try and put it simply:

What are the exact functions of the keys below and what is the importance of them in relation to locking onto and destroying a target.

NEXT_RADAR_MODE=PGUP

SELECT_NEXT_RADAR_TARGET=HOME

ACQUIRE_RADAR_TARGET=INSERT

ACQUIRE_VISUAL_TARGET_ON_RADAR=SHIFT+INSERT

// Visual Targeting Controls

SELECT_TARGET=T

SELECT_CLOSEST_TARGET=CTRL+T

SELECT_GROUND=E

SELECT_CLOSEST_GROUND=CTRL+E

SELECT_LAST_RADIO=R

SELECT_LAST_RADIO_CALLER=SHIFT+R

SELECT_RADAR_TARGET=CTRL+R

If someone could be so kind as to copy paste then type a breif discription plus type IMPORTANT or NOT IMPORTANT under each one it would be very much apreciated

I'm currently putting together a comprehensive keymapping guide that will be incorperated the SFP1 section that I am editing at cfspilots.com that will hopefully make life alot easier for people who just got this game.

and Id like to be able to explain these controls in it but I want to know what Im talking about first.

Thank you

I’m open to suggestions from anyone so please don’t hesitate to post your thoughts on this. As the game is now with its bugs that are even in the keymapper .I feel like a tutorial like this is necessary in order for noobs like myself to get it all working right
