OT Aces high

guys a few months ago I was able to get a copy of aces high from europe I think...I played it in dvd player and it would not work....I then got a blu ray player and it worked...then I went to watch it again and it wouldnt load/// I saw it was a dvd+r ... I researched this and It still doesnt make sense to me....Why would it play in my br and then not play.. I cleaned it etc..any ideas thanks I live in USA

It's a burned copy, right?

Probably bad brand and/or bad burned (high speeds). Some times after a few months they aren't read anymore. Usually due to bad sealing.

I only use Verbatim. +R are always first class media even when they don't came from Japan or Taiwan.

No it was a commercial copy bought new.....your right though its stopped reading

What REGION was it for origonally, do you have a region free DVD player, perhaps the Blu-Ray was Lucky ONCE

 

 

I am not sure on the player but I thought when I bought the dvd it was for north america.....and I played it once on br...well at least I got to see it ...hadnt seen it in many years

Since you own a legit original you could rip the movie and re burn it onto a dvd-r with certain software so its reigon free..

That much i can say openly i think..
